Importance of roots
My production is the synthesis of the agricultural tradition and passion for the land received from my father combined with the latest farming techniques . From my father I learned that grapes, olives are better only if there is continuous interplay between territory and human activity and a perfect balance between tradition and progress.
The production now focuses on making extra virgin olive oil and wine of excellent quality. Nero di Troia wine and extra virgin olive oil are the ultimate expression of my production: full-bodied, classic, strong the first, precious, sophisticated the latter.
Our Nero di Troia wine is made from thirty years old vines, a particular biological phase of the branch where amount of production turns into a significant increase of quality of the product. My vines are grown in the lands around Corato, Italy, followed all the year by myself and my staff to ensure that the quality of our wine always remains high.
My extra virgin olive oil is made from "La Coratina" stoned olives. Healthy, undamaged, gathered in the traditional way. Immediately after being picked and washed from the leaves and after being deprived of the core, the olives are sent to the milling.
